Why would you limp with the best possible pre-flop hand at a loose-passive table? Loose-agressive, yes.

Are we talking maniac = raising 9 out of 10 pots, or the new definition of maniac which is a guy that plays alot of trash aggressively but otherwise is tight?

With the former, you can go ahead in limp because the maniac will likely raise and give you the opportunity.

With the latter, the table is too passive to count on the raise unless it happens to be one of the times the 'maniac' gets bored.
