FINAL TABLE is stately asembled.

Play has ended on Day three for the WPT event in Paris. And what a day it was. When play sometimes reached 7 players, they played for nearly five hours before Daniel Negreanu was eliminated in 7th position. (And Daniel was the chip leader for at least four hours out of those five with 7 players left.) This was far and away the longest TV "bubble" battle in WPT history as only six players make the TV show.

Here are the standings goin into tomorrow's final:

NAME CHIP COUNT SEAT #

1) David Benyamine (FR) 366,600 3
2) Jan Boubli (FR) 233,100 5
3) Erick Lindgren (USA) 123,700 2
4) Jamie Posner (G 123,600 4
5) George Paravoliasakis (GR) 77,500 6
6) Lee Salem (USA) 39,900 1

First place is 357,200 Euros (about $410K) plus the $25K entry into the
WPT championship event.
