Ok, I just got off the phone with partypoker support. It was about a fund transfer.
I spoke with a regular customer service rep and not a spokesperson or anyone with authority, but I thought I`d post anyway.
Her response wasn`t scripted.
When I asked about the horribly slow games, she said that she heard that there are a few things going on. One is the huge amount of players there that way surpassed everyones expectations. She said they had tested their servers for load with no problems before the ads ran, but not only are there so many players, but it seems that a tremendous amount of people are just logging on and watching the games.
She also said that their techs are on the problem and working as hard as possible to rectify things.
Also, my opinion is that shit happens. Some people are impatient and want instant results. Life isn`t always that easy.
If they choose not to answer every post in here, that`s ok with me as long as they fix whatever is wrong.
Party has grown tremendously fast and it just looks like they weren`t prepared for it, but they have shown that they do care by giving good bonuses and doing what they can to rectify things.
I`ve heard that they hired and trained a new customer service crew. I`ve also heard they are making other improvements.
Many seem to think that all of this should have been in place before, but how many bussinesses really know what to be prepared for?
I`m not an employee of Partys - I just play there. I`m not even a winning player, but I`m not going to jump ship just because of a few days of server problems. More players means better games and I`m willing to stick it out.
They have shown by their investment, promotions, and other things that they are here for the long run.... more than I can say for other places.
I feel bad for new players coming in and having bad experiences, but hopefully party will shoot out an email to everyone and explain the situation. Maybe even a bonus for everyones patience?
