Seat 2 is the button Total number of players : 6 Seat 4: 4 ( $156.25 ) Seat 5: 5 ( $449 ) Seat 6: 6 ( $711.03 ) Seat 2: Me ( $737.55 ) Seat 3: 3 ( $400 ) Seat 1: 1 ( $231.80 ) 3 posts small blind [$2]. 4 posts big blind [$4]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Me [ Ts As ] 5 folds. 6 folds. 1 raises [$12]. Me calls [$12]. 3 calls [$10]. watler folds. ** Dealing Flop ** [ 3c, 8s, Ks ] 3 checks. 1 bets [$35]. Me calls [$35]. 3 folds. ** Dealing Turn ** [ Qs ] 1 checks. Me bets [$100]. 1 calls [$100]. ** Dealing River ** [ 8h ] 1 is all-In. Me calls [$84.80]. 1 shows [ Qc, Ac ] two pairs, queens and eights. Me shows [ Ts, As ] a flush, ace high. Me wins $476.60 from the main pot with a flush, ace high. no u didnt

The player in seat 3, whom I had won an $800 pot from earlier by calling down his bluff when he fired 3 times at the board, is giving me a hard time about my play already. So when this hand happened he took it upon himself to keep that up. He said I made a poor call on the flop, and I didnt even have the implied odds to make the call either. I have been looking for some good articles on implied odds which showcase a hand similar to this, but I cant find any. So I figured I would post the hand here and open it up for discussion. Did I have good i. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Me [ Ts As ] 5 folds. 6 folds. 1 raises [$12]. Did I have good implied odds to call and chase my flush?

After the flop bet, seat 1 had $231.80 - 12.00 - 35.00 = $184.80. The pot had $2 + 4 + 12 + 12 + 10 + 35 = $75. You were looking at paying $35 to a pot of $75 for pot odds and $35 to a total of $259.80 for implied odds. You definitely had the odds to take the card, assuming you could get his entire stack if you hit your flush.

Had the turn missed your flush, it would have been dicey. If he pushed all in, you would have been faced with calling a $184.80 bet into a $294.80 pot. In that case, you definitely wouldn't have the odds to call the bet.
